September 21, 2009 Need nominees for MLIB Citizen Representative

MLA needs to recommend a new citizen member of the MLIB after 2010

Assuming the MLIB does continue after 2010 (see other article), the current citizen representative on the MLIB, Norm LaCroix, will be retiring from the MLIB. Norm has provided incredible service to the residents of Manistee Lake throughout the years through his diligent work on the Manistee Lake Association and now the MLIB. We all owe him a debt of gratitude for all the time and energy he has donated to making Manistee Lake a better environment for all of us. But now it is time to look for some fresh ideas and a new face to represent all of us on the MLIB. Someone who understands the organization and functioning of the MLIB and will be able to attend their meetings and interact with local citizens as well as being a link between the MLIB and the MLA is needed to fill Norm's very large shoes.
